WATERVILLE, Maine – After a regular season that featured a pair of team wins and three individual medalist honors, the Castleton University men's golf team has been voted third in the North Atlantic Conference pre-championship poll as announced by the league office Thursday morning.
The Spartans earned 55 points, including one first-place vote, in the poll, voted on by the league's nine head coaches. Four-time defending champion Husson University was voted as the favorite with 75 points and five first-place votes. SUNY-Delhi was voted second with 72 points and three first-place votes.
